eLearning Development Manager

Overview: As a dynamic start-up, LPSS seeks an eLearning Development Manager to enhance our Learning and Development team. This pivotal role involves crafting engaging, innovative digital learning solutions to support our educational goals and elevate user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of digital/e-learning content using effective instructional design methodologies, multimedia technology, and authoring tools to create interactive courses.
  • Develop and implement strategies aligned with our business objectives.
  • Create educational content using sound instructional design principles for online environments.
  • Manage course/content development projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify training needs and create learning materials, including videos, textual content, quizzes, and assessments.
  • Oversee the entire content development lifecycle, from concept to review and iteration based on user feedback.
  • Conduct quality assurance sessions to assess content effectiveness and make improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with legal codes, standards, and best practices, including accessibility requirements.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members.
  • Stay updated with trends in e-learning and instructional design to keep the company at the forefront of digital education.
Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in content development and instructional design.
  • Expertise in courseware development software such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of learning theories and instructional design models.
  • Creative thinking with the ability to translate ideas into engaging learning experiences.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects.
Preferred Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, instructional design, or a related field.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Content Management Systems (CMS).
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate content effectiveness and adapt strategies.
